St Richard’s Hospice, Worcester
St Richard’s Hospice cares for patients and families in Worcestershire who are living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Each year we give free care and support to around 1,800 patients and families – helping them towards the best quality of life possible. In 2006 Louise Hewett was invited to become Patron of the Hospice as recognition for the fundraising and support shown by Hewett Recruitment over the years. "It is such a privilege to become a patron…." said Louise.
Kemp Hospice provides a major support system for the local community
and their primary goal is to provide palliative care and support, adding
the the quality of life for patients and their carers.
The Worcestershire Ambassadors is a unique scheme which brings together key business people from leading Worcestershire organisations who work to actively promote the county and raise money for annually nominated charities within the area.
Louise was Chairman in 2009 & 2010 and has taken up the role of Vice President of the Ambassadors from 2011. The Management Group work hard to increase the presence within the county of Worcestershire and work closely with the County Council, Chamber of Commerce and the IoD to represent the business community of Worcestershire. Key members of the Ambassadors were recently selected to participate and contributed to the formulation of the Worcestershire LEP Bid - which was successful.

The Prince’s Trust is a UK charity that helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working. Through practical support, including training, mentoring, and financial assistance, the Trust helps 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.

The Warriors Community Foundation has been set up by the Worcester Warriors Rugby Club to help build a legacy for sport, education, health and social cohesion across the communities within our reach. Funny Blood is a Not for Profit Organisation founded to raise awareness of a rare blood condition called Platelet Function Disorder. Funny Blood raises funds for research and public awareness of the condition. We do – because nobody else does. The Funny Blood team has pledged to raise significant funds to provide equipment and grants for research and public awareness of Platelet Function Disorder.
