Software Systems Engineer, C#, .Net, MFC, Visual C++, Malvern, Worcestershire. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a long established, incredibly successful company with an international presence in a niche market place. The ideal applicant will work to provide customer-focused instrumentation software based around Agile practices and C# / .Net. You will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle and will be commercially aware, innovative, a good communicator and willing to learn and progress.

The right candidate must have experience with MFC / Visual C++ or C# / .Net as well as good Mathematical capability and an understanding of Agile methodologies. You will also be educated to degree level in Software Engineering or a related topic, with a background in the high technology or scientific sectors. Any experience with material characterisation instruments, embedded systems, the use of MATLAB (or similar) and working in a TickIT / ISO9000 environment would also be beneficial.

Please note that this role will initially require some travel and work in the USA and applicants must be willing and eligible to do so.
