Business Consultant – Implementations Consultant

My client are leading software provider within its industry and have recently established themselves in the UK, looking to bring together a new team. With over 27 years’ experience in bringing quality software to market and offices internationally including Japan and France.

My client are seeking two Business Consultants who will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary unit, responsible for the full range of services in the UK. This includes implementation projects, customer & core software enhancements, post go live support, account management. You will be based in the UK, but will also work on projects internationally

As part of the Implementations Team you will be responsible for:
• Rollout of software to new customers, larger software enhancements and any bespoke queries from existing clients
• Assessing new and future requirements for the software, understanding the client’s needs and their intended uses
• Building these into functional analyses and passing this information through to the development team
• Testing the development of new software or any software changes

You may also be responsible for:
• Helping with application support, especially where there is an implementation or configuration issue
• Dealing with inbound customer enquiries
• Qualifying each customer enquiry in a logical and methodical manner to ascertain the extent of the issue
• Logging and escalating support queries

This will present opportunities to broaden your role within the business into:
• Testing
• Project management
• Account Management

The successful business consultant will have experience in:
• Large scale application or software implementation and rollout preferably with larger clients
• Previous experience dealing with bespoke software
• Project Managing

It would be beneficial if you have experience in:
• Development knowledge or SQL database understanding
• Documentation
• Project man agent
• Foreign Language Skills (Dutch would be highly beneficial)

To be considered for this position you must have:
• A valid driving license
• No problem with flying or international travel


In exchange you will receive a generous salary and package of up to £30,000 depending on experience with other benefits such as a Car and Mobile included. You will also receive a great working atmosphere, potential for great promotional prospects and the experience gained working for an international organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation in its infancy in the UK with plans to grow the business to 10 people within the next 18 months and is already part of a business including over 175 employees.

This role is based in Leominster and is commutable from Worcester, Ledbury, Tenbury, Hereford, Bromyard, Kidderminster, Cleobury Mortimer and Stourport-On-Severn,
