The Company

The company who are part of one of the region’s largest manufacturing groups are seeking a Systems Administrator to assist their already busy IT Department in the completion of several business critical projects.

The Role

As a successful Systems Administrator you will be responsible for working on both the company’s internal systems and their deployed products. Responsibilities will include:

Network & Server

  • Monitoring and maintenance of Windows servers, both physical and virtual.
  • Maintain and secure network appliances including firewalls, SANs, routers, and switches.
  • Install and upgrade hardware.
  • Conduct regular backup maintenance.
Assets & Hardware

  • Manage all IT assets.
  • Document IT systems and procedures.
  • Manage VoIP phone system.
  • Administer imaging and deployment of workstations.
Software and Support

  • Administer endpoint management services.
  • Email system administration.
  • Install software including security patches.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for day-to-day IT issues of internal staff.

Successful candidates will have the following experience:

  • IT related degree or relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of Windows Server administration experience and proficiency in Windows server ore services.
  • Performing SQL queries on a database system (MS SQL Server).
  • VoIP phone system configuration and provisioning (Asterisk-based).
  • Firewall administration.

This role will require some regional travel and therefore need your own license and car.
