Are you looking for a Technical Coach position where you can:

My client are an Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ training and apprenticeship provider operating on a national scale. They are going through a period of expansion and are growing their Technical Coaching team.

As a successful Technical Coach you will be working for a leading provider of IT apprenticeships and certifications, where you will be at the heart of the apprenticeship programme; inspiring and motivating apprentices to achieve whilst developing their passion for technology.

It will be intrinsic to the role to develop training plans that co-ordinate both the needs of the client and the apprentice on a case by case basis – as well as meeting national curriculum standards. You will be responsible for designing, planning, preparing and delivering apprenticeship and degree level training, both onsite and remotely. This will include visiting client sites to identify and integrate their needs into the training programme – as well as those of the individual learners.

Coaching and mentoring individuals will for the most part be on a one to one basis – with focus on helping them to achieve their personal goals. There will also be elements of e-learning where you can coach within a virtual environment.

To be considered as a successful Technical Coach, you should have commercial experience within Software Development, Technical environments or training. It would be an advantage to hold a degree or master’s degree in Software Development or similar. However, we are essentially looking for someone with the passion and drive to do well within a dedicated and growing team.

Within this role there is also the opportunity to develop your skillset and gain qualifications with full backing for: QTLS status, safeguarding etc.

It would be beneficial if as a Technical Coach you have had experience in:

• Commercial training, coaching or mentoring

• Software Development degree or master’s

• Ofsted, QAA, ISO 270101

This role is based either in Worcester or Birmingham and is commutable from Kidderminster, Solihull, Bromsgrove, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall and Redditch.

Regular travel is required, therefore it is necessary to hold a full clean driving license and have use of your own vehicle. DBS clearance is essential prior to start.

We also operate a referral scheme so if you do know a Technical Coach with skills in Software Development, UI/U X, Networking or Digital Marketing then please do get in touch!
