When you arrive for your appointment at our offices, you will be greeted by our friendly team who will guide you through the registration process.  This will inevitably involve filling in some forms, measuring your skills and discussing your work history and future aspirations.  We like to listen and understand your expectations to ensure we find the right opportunities for you.

Once registered with Hewett Recruitment, we aim to keep you informed and encourage you to telephone, e-mail, text us, or simply call into the office to update us on your own job search or any changes to your circumstances that we should know about.  Remember – we are here to work with you and support you through your job search.

What to bring

You will need to bring along some form of identification in the shape of a birth certificate or passport along with any additional documentation confirming your right to work in the UK (if applicable) together with a current CV if you have one prepared earlier!

How long will the registration interview last?

Depending upon the type of work you are looking for will determine the length of your interview with us.

For example if you are looking for industrial temping work, it will simply mean filling out the registration forms and talking briefly to one our industrial consultants about the type of work you are interested in and your availability – about 20 minutes..... We do not run an appointment system for industrial so pop in to see us – we can most likely see you there and then!

If you are looking for office based roles then depending upon the precise nature of the work you are seeking, we like to evaluate your computer knowledge on software packages such as MS Word & Excel.  We will also test your data entry and copy typing speeds.  This will help us match you to the right job making sure you will feel comfortable and confident in any role you undertake.  This interview process make take at least one and a half hours.
