Worcestershire is easy to get to and easy to get around. With excellent road and rail links there are three international airports within an hour's drive of the county.

The County is home to global brands including Morgan Cars, Worcester Bosch and Worcestershire Sauce. The University of Worcester is amongst the fastest growing universities in the UK. The Worcestershire 5G Consortium is leading the way for UK digital transformation.

The City of Worcester is the largest county town. Other major towns in the county include Bromsgrove, Kidderminster and Redditch, divided into six administrative districts: Worcester, Redditch, Wychavon, Malvern Hills, Wyre Forest and Bromsgrove.

There are also several market towns: Malvern, Bewdley, Evesham, Droitwich Spa, Pershore, Tenbury Wells, Stourport-on-Severn and Upton-upon-Severn. The village of Hartlebury housed the Bishop of Worcester from the 13th century until 2007.

While a large proportion of the county is rural, the north-east of Herefordshire includes part of the industrial West Midlands.
