Hi, I’m Nicola, better known as Nicki,  and I joined Hewett Recruitment in June 2014 originally as a temp, assisting the Worcester team with their administration and became a permanent member of staff in January 2015. Previously, I was a full time singer for 8 years and have been very lucky travelling the world singing, but during quiet periods or between tours, I used to temp for various clients through Hewett Recruitment.  I have since been very blessed with my son, and made singing more of a hobby so that I could be at home more, and came to work at Hewett’s on a part time basis, and still gig at odd weekends.  Prior to singing, I worked in insolvency for 8 years as a PA to Manager, Legal Secretary and also covering reception, I was also responsible for branch’s marketing and events. As a Branch Administrator at Hewett Recruitment, I get to use my secretarial and admin skills and also some creative marketing skills.  I have also been known to sing at the odd Christmas party, so transferring my skills nicely.

My role involves supporting both the Industrial, Commercial and Technical consultants across temp and perm desks, ensuring all admin is completed accurately, timely and records are up to date. It is my job to attract people into our office making sure window adverts and display boards are eye-catching and informative. Most importantly I endeavor to ensure candidates and clients alike have a helpful and pleasant experience, whether they walk through the door and are greeted with a welcoming smile, or hear a cheerful accommodating voice on the phone that can direct them to the correct consultant, who can advise them further in their specialism.

Like all of us at Hewett Recruitment, I take pride in my job and naturally want to help candidates, clients and colleagues.  The key is that we make a great team, we are not just colleagues, we are also friends and we all help each other to achieve the best results for all concerned.
