Salary: Upto £25,000
Hours: 37.5 - Part time can be accepted, flexible working
Hewett Recruitment are seeking an Accounts Assistant to work for our client based in Worcester. Our client has a 5m T/O and is growing YoY. You will be joining a small and welcoming team who would Ideally be seeking someone to help out in all areas of the business as and when required.
Your key duties will be:
Purchase Ledger: -
- Processing purchase invoices including matching delivery notes, checking to purchase orders
- Processing general payments including credit card payments and expense claims
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Recommending and processing supplier payments
Sales Ledger: -
- Raising sales invoices
- Processing sales receipts
- Emailing customer statements
- Credit control by email and telephone
Cash: -
- Bank, credit card and foreign currency reconciliations
- Cash flow preparation
Other duties: -
- Processing credit applications
- Compliance report
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments
- Ownership of filing system
- Other accounting and administration duties as required
Must be a positive, confident team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Previous experience within accounts is preferred although full training will be provided including AAT if desired
Due to location, independent means of transport will be required
