Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of a busy and growing business.
Reporting directly to the UK Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience to further develop their skills within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of finance processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices and credit notes within the ERP system
- Maintaining accurate ledgers and ensuring records are up to date
- Managing customer queries and building strong working relationships
- Supporting credit control activities
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Providing general finance and administrative support as required
About You
The successful candidate will be highly organised, accurate, and confident working with financial data. You will also have:
- 1-3 years' experience within a similar finance or accounts role
- A good understanding of bookkeeping and financial processes
- Strong data entry and reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Experience with ERP systems such SAP would be advantageous but is not essential.
