The Company

A manufacturing business with over 30 years of experience supplying the residential, construction and niche specialised sectors.

The Role

The Administrator will work as part of a small support team and will be tasked with dealing with a range of administration duties. The Administration department is responsible for the provision of IT, Health and Safety, Compliance and General Administration functions for Head office and the UK subsidiaries.


Responsibilities

  • Reception, post, procurement of supplies and equipment, building and facilities management, including obtaining quotations for work and managing contractors, meeting and event planning.
  • Dealing with daily post, photocopying and filing of documents.
  • Typing, collation and distribution of correspondence, reports and minutes and the maintenance of confidential records and files.
  • Vehicle administration - maintain records to ensure that vehicles are taxed, MOT'd and serviced in good time, obtain quotations for new vehicles. You may be asked to take vehicles to be serviced, cleaned, or to collect colleagues from garages, etc.
  • Liaise with staff and insurers on claims and other insurance matters and provide ad hoc reporting.
  • To plan travel for visitors and colleagues both within the UK and overseas, including to research, price and book flights, accommodation.
  • Provide hospitality for visitors and support meetings including organising lunches and other refreshments. Occasionally you may be asked to drive visitors to and from airports and train stations, etc.

Requirements

  • Recent experience of a similar role.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Products,
  • Good verbal and written communications with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A full driving licence.
  • Any compliance and / or health and safety experience advantageous.
