The successful candidate will provide management accounting and business information for my Worcestershire based client. This will include the development of new reports and the provision of financial and operating analyses.
Participate in UK and Group development projects including reviewing, developing and implementing processes and IT user support and training.
My client will offer full study support for the successful candidate to complete their CIMA qualification.
Produce monthly management accounts reports, and provide support for the production of the annual financial statements
Develop and maintain business reports to aid decision making for the UK business
Provide analysis of operational information to aid the planning and control of business processes
Support the Finance Director in budget and quarterly forecast production
Maintain internal process controls and act as a super-user of the financial systems
Act as local liaison for the implementation of group finance & IT projects
Provide cover for the Credit Control function during busy / holiday periods
Support the Director of Finance on other projects and tasks as required
Primary reporting line is to the Director of Finance.
Regular interaction with all UK directors and senior managers for development and presentation of business information
Regular interaction with rest of the UK Finance team and with Finance & IT teams in Denmark.
Provide support activities for all UK IT users
Skills and Experience
Experience & understanding of the fundamentals of accounting practice
Ability to analyse and present information in structured, easy to use formats
Detailed knowledge and experience of Microsoft products, particularly financial and data presentation products
Ability to understand the seed business and business processes and to identify solutions to business problems.
