Location: Kidderminster
Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £25,000
Hours: 35 per week (flexible hours)
Hewett Recruitment's Finance team are actively seeking an experienced Bookkeeper that can join our client based in Kidderminster, on a permanent basis. This bookkeeping opportunity is a stand alone position and you will be primarily responsible for the day to day running of the Accounts function and expected to help out in other areasof the business such as answering the phone and taking orders.
Duties:
- Full responsibility for all accounting functions, using Sage 50.
- Running the monthly payroll, checking hours worked, bacs payments to staff
- Checking, approving/querying purchase invoices.
- Allocating costs to various projects and clients.
- Raise invoices.
- Reconciling monthly supplier statements
- Entering daily bank transactions
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Be happy to help out in other areas of the business, such as telephone calls and queries from suppliers and taking orders over the phone
