A natural relationship builder who is driven and proactive in sourcing new opportunities, is required to take on this Business Development role within the Exhibition and Events industry sector. With responsibility for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating and closing deals, you will be an Ambassador for an organisation who takes pride in offering a supportive and flexible working environment.
The Business Development Executive will be required to:
*Prospect new clients and convert into business
*Research and build new relationships
*Attend industry functions, shows and events in order to analyse and feedback on market and creative trends
*Identify opportunities for campaigns in order to increase sales
*Work with the team in order to develop the company's unique selling proposition and differentiators
*Report pipeline, sales figures and opportunities at regular meetings
Previous Business Development experience within the Events and Exhibition industry sector would be hugely beneficial but equally as important is the person fit for the team and the individual's willingness to demonstrate a genuine passion to exceed targets in a professional and structured way.
Experience and skills required for the Business Development Executive include:
*Evidence of having worked in a similar role
*A willingness to research and 'think outside the box' in order to attract new business
*An ability to build and nurture new client relationships
*Exceptional communication skills at all levels - written as well as verbal
*An excellent team player who values working in a friendly and supportive environment
