Are you an experienced CNC Grinder looking to work with world-class precision engineering products? This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturing business producing complex, high-tolerance components in a modern machining environment.

Working within a skilled engineering team, you'll play a key role in the manufacture of precision-machined components while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence across the department.

The Role

* Set and operate CNC cylindrical and universal grinding machines
* Manufacture high-precision components to exacting quality standards
* Edit and optimise CNC programmes using Fanuc controls
* Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Carry out quality checks using precision measuring equipment
* Support continuous improvement and health & safety initiatives across the machine shop

Requirements

Essential:
* Experience setting and operating CNC grinding machinery
* Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding processes
* Knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls
* Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications
* Previous experience within a busy manufacturing environment

Desirable:
* Ability to programme Fanuc controls from drawing
* CNC grinding programming experience
* Apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification
* Experience working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment
