A highly organised individual who can demonstrate an ability to work in a fast paced, unpredictable environment where exceptional co-ordination and logistical skills are essential as is a solid knowledge and understanding of the equine world.
Working with and supporting veterinary surgeons, clients and support staff you will need an excellent and professional telephone manner and be able to respond to every call in a timely and efficient manner. An understanding of the Equine world is essential.
Working as a key member of the Reception and support team you will have the confidence and skills to undergo the following duties:
*To fulfill the duties of telephone reception, ensuring the efficient receipt and allocation of calls to clients
*To take and pass on messages accurately and promptly
*To greet visitors and be sensitive to their circumstances.
*To appreciate the confidential nature of much of the work carried out and ensure confidentiality is never breached.
*To maintain efficient filing systems
*To dispatch the post using internal and external systems as appropriate
*To provide administrative support to veterinary surgeons including maintenance of computer records and some sales ledger inputting
*To ensure a professional image to the clients is maintained at all times in the form of appearance of reception staff and office tidiness.
You will need to demonstrate:
*Previous experience in a similar role
*An ability to work in a pressurised environment
*Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Strong administrative and IT skills
*Solid equine knowledge
Location - Outskirts of Upton - commutable from Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire
Hours of work - Mon - Fri - 8.30 - 5.30 plus one in four Sat mornings (8.30 - 12.30) - A Friday afternoon will be given in lieu for a Saturday morning worked
