If you are a naturally passionate self-motivated Communications candidate who can demonstrate excellent experience in Social media and PR, this could be a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills within a busy and rewarding environment.
Reporting into the Corporate Communications Manager, the Communications Officer will be part of the team who provides internal and external communications, creative and media services, press liaison and high level corporate projects.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
*Ensuring that all communications and information flow through the organisation
*Manage Social media activity including Instagram and Linked-In as well as Facebook and Twitter
*Have responsibility for the content of the corporate website and intranet and support the Communications Manager and Graphic Designer
*Be active in the contact for all press enquiries
*Have a proactive awareness of all positive news stories
*Evaluate all social media activity on all platforms
*Write media information and press releases as requested
It is essential that you:
*Have experience in writing press releases and handling media enquiries
*Have previous experience of working in a communications role
*Are you used to working with Social media platforms in a commercial environment
As the Communications Officer you will also be able to demonstrate:
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*A high level of accuracy and able to write copy to a high standard
*Show a genuine passion and willingness to ' go the extra mile '
This is a fixed term 6 month contract based in Worcester.
Own transport is required
