My client are looking to recruit a Communications Officer to join a busy team on an ongoing basis.
As a successful Communications officer you will:
*Be responsible for the content of the website, social media services and supporting the Corporate Communications Manager and Graphic Designer.
*Embrace, identify and exploit new technologies and advances in the media and communication industry.
*Actively encourage the use of the latest technological advances that will benefit the organisation.
To be considered for the role of Communications Officer you must:
*Have a relevant professional qualification in communications (e.g CIM, CIPR or similar)
*Good standard English and grammar
*Experience in writing press releases and handing media enquiries
*Demonstrate experience in a communications role in a large organization
Other essential skills for the role of Communications Officer:
*Excellent communication skills
*Good self management and motivation
*Knowledge and experience of a wide area of communications techniques
*Good creative thinking and problem solving skills
The Hours of work are : Monday-Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Rate of pay - £12.85 p/hr + holiday pay
This is temporary ongoing position based in Worcester easily commutable from Kidderminster, Stourport, Droitwich, Pershore and Malvern
