My client are looking to recruit a temporary Cost Accountant.
As a successful Cost Accountant your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Determine fixed costs
*Analyse and report profit margins
*Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
*Assist in month-end and year-end closing
*Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
*Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
*Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
*Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
*Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
To be successful in this Cost Accountant role you must be able to hit the ground running and have worked in the manufacturing industry previously.
This is a full time, temporary to permanent position based in Worcester. Easily commutable from Stourport, Droitwich, Hartlebury, Malvern, Hereford.
