Job description
The Role
As Customer Service Advisor you will be part of an experienced and established team, working in a busy and fast paced environment. You will be tasked with delivering a consistently high level of customer service to all customers, responding to all queries and issues in a timely, professional manner.
It is important to note that this opportunity will include working an occasional weekend once every 9 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Deal with internal and external service users in a courteous and professional manner.
- Build excellent rapport with customers.
- Proactively keep customers informed of progress and service issues concerning the progress of their orders.
- To undertake all tasks within the Customer Service Team, to include in addition to customer updates; returns processing and invoicing.
- Assist other departments by providing accurate and timely information and support where possible.
- Assist with general departmental housekeeping.
- Prioritise key tasks to ensure consistent and thorough level of service attained at all times.
- Answer queries and deal in a professional and appropriate manner at all times.
- Provide regular updates to Customer Service Team Leader, keeping them up to date with all latest issues and developments.
- Proactively make suggestions to adhere to the culture of continuous improvement.
- Deputise for members of wider team as and where required, cross-training for maximum effectiveness.

Requirements
- MUST have previous telephone customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Professional telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.
- High levels of IT proficiency (MS Office).
- Able to demonstrate strong people skills
Based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours. To include working one weekend every 9 weeks.
Salary dependant on experience.
