My client are a leading software house developing software solutions for the ecommerce industry, looking to attract Data Engineers to work on their all new software platform to design, create, develop and expand their data offering. The current platform is developed in a Java environment using AWS and Azure based delivery so, ideally coming from a Java Application development background would be useful.

The successful Data Engineer will be responsible for:
*Development of data modules
*Developing information and insights
*Developing the software strategy and informing the software development process where data, information and analytics are concerned

As a successful Data Engineer you will have experience in:
*Commercial software development in Java, Scala or Python
*ETL tools, data flows, data pipelines and data analytics
*Visualisation technologies such as Tableau, Qlikview etc

It would be beneficial if as a Data Engineer you have exposure to:
*Java application development
*Big data
*Machine Learning
*CI/CD and automation
