Reporting to the Business Owner / Director, this is a hands on role with the Depot Manager involved in all areas of the business, working very closely with the warehouse, ordering of stock / parts, planning loads for dispatch (both UK & overseas), planning and booking jobs in to the workshop and dealing directly with customers.
The Depot Manager will also help manage and motivate a small team of staff to deliver all round exceptional service and meet customer expectations.
*Ensure all product and service knowledge is up to date in order to provide customers with advice and excellent all round customer service.
*Act as a front of house point of contact for customers, dealing with customers in person, by telephone and email and by live, online chat.
*Deal with customer queries, issues and complaints.
*Receive and process customer orders.
*Book jobs in to the workshop (servicing and repairs etc).
*Process electronic payments.
*Help shape the business for the future, putting forward ideas and suggestions for improvements and implementing appropriate changes.
*Ordering of new stock and parts.
*Planning loads for dispatch both UK and overseas.
*Experience of motor trade or outdoor adventure industry is ESSENTIAL.
*Knowledge of parts / parts systems / electronic catalogues is ESSENTIAL.
*Good all round IT skills to include online shops & electronic payment processing.
*The ability to work as part of a team.
*Happy to be hands on and get stuck in.
*Excellent level of customer service experience.
Based Near Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
Monday to Friday 8:15am to 5:30pm. Occasional Saturday's 8:30am to 2pm.
£25,000 - £30,000 annual salary.
