My client are a leading IT SaaS (software as a Service) provider for the retail and ecommerce sector looking to grow their internal infrastructure offering. An exciting opportunity for a forward thinking DevOps specialist to join the business as the company looks to grow its product offering and market sector

As part of this DevOps role you will be responsible for the overall management and operability of the Operational IT.

This will include acting in a fluid position within the business to enable development, support and management to achieve their goals. Acting as if part of a start-up, this will mean clever thinking, problem solving and deciding what the best solution could be and to not being constrained to usual infrastructure and operational concerns, starting from scratch where possible.

This will involve the DevOps specialist to:

*Reducing total onsite infrastructure to almost nothing and replacing with Cloud solutions in an already heavy AWS - Amazon Web Services - (Java SaaS software environment) and Azure (Microsoft AD, 365 and support and ticketing functions) based environment
*Solving support and infrastructure bottle necks with innovative solutions
*Systems Rationalisation
*Engaging with 3rd party suppliers to ensure there are adequate SLAs, hardware etc and developing those supplier connections
*Enabling Development, Support and Infrastructure to achieve their goals, individually and together

To be a successful DevOps Specialist you should have experience such as:

*Cloud based solutions
*Managing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Azure, Office 365 and Active Directory
*GDPR and ISO27001
*Java Development
*Kubernetes
*Continuous integration, continuous development (CI/CD) solutions
*Skype for Business and Zoom Video Communications
*Cost effective licensing
*Working in an active development environment
