The Company

An established & experienced specialist business who help their clients by taking care of their event and venue requirements. They operate throughout the UK & deal with clients of all sizes from a huge variation of industry sectors.

The Role

To provide a full event organising service to clients to cover venue sourcing & accommodation reservations, event management, administration & sales.

Responsibilities

*Take event and accommodation enquiries from clients and source suitable venues to meet the event specification, negotiate preferable rates, commission and facilities with venues / service providers.
*Propose venues/services to clients verbally/in writing in accordance with the clients requirements.
*Present accurate proposals to clients within agreed timescales.
*Coordinate final details for clients and call client/venue whilst event is taking place to check on progress where necessary.
*Process venue/service providers invoices.
*Prepare management information/service level agreements for key clients as required.
*Produce and update event project planners.
*In conjunction with the Event Manager compile and maintain income and expenditure statements for events as required.
*Liaise with speakers, exhibitors, press and other service providers and coordinate their requirements as required by each event.
*Coordinate all logistical arrangements for the event to include venue and catering arrangements, delegate flow etc.
*Support the Event Manager on the day at the event with providing an event management service.
*Attend client meetings to liaise with client and talk through ideas and suggestions.
*Visit and inspect venues to assess the standard of facilities

Requirements

*It is ESSENTIAL that applicants have previous event management / venue sourcing experience.
*Strong administration & customer service background.
*Must have strong Excel skills to include basic formulas.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
*A logical approach with good forward planning skills.

Based in Kidderminster.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
Salary Dependant on Experience.
