About the Organisation

Our client is a charity supporting people experiencing homelessness and severe disadvantage, providing practical support, specialist interventions and compassionate, person-centred services. Their work includes day centre provision, outreach, housing support, harm reduction, and partnership-based health and wellbeing services.

Main Purpose of the Role

A pivotal role providing high-quality executive and administrative support to the CEO and wider corporate team, enabling effective day-to-day functioning of strategic, governance and operational activities. You will act as a trusted coordinator of internal and external relationships, anticipating needs, streamlining communications and overseeing HR administration.

Main Duties

Executive & Leadership Support

  • Provide comprehensive PA support to the CEO, managing priorities, communications and diary with sound judgement and discretion.

  • Act as a trusted point of coordination between the CEO, Board, senior leaders and external stakeholders.

  • Handle confidential information with integrity and manage enquiries directed to the CEO or corporate team.

Governance & Board Support

  • Plan, organise and support Board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking.

  • Support the Chair and Company Secretary with statutory registers, AGM organisation and compliance filings.

Business Administration

  • Support effective use of SharePoint, MS Teams and Office 365 across the organisation.

  • Manage HR records, office supplies and operational policies, drafting and updating governance documents as needed.
