Exhibition Installation Crew Supervisor

Are you looking for something a little different to a normal 9 to 5 job? Does a hands on role, involving travel around the UK and Europe appeal? Being part of a dedicated Exhibition and Events Assembly Team, you will travel to a variety of sites to deliver and build custom built exhibition structures and exhibition stands.

As Supervisor, you will lead and develop a team of staff to assemble and dismantle temporary structures. You must be able to lead and motivate a team of up to 8, possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude and have strong leadership skills.

Physical duties should be expected as this is a hands on and practical role and will involve occasional weekend working and overnight stays away.

As a lot of your work will take place 'on location', an awareness and appreciation of the importance of customer service is paramount. When not on site at events you will be yard based, supporting the operation from headquarters in Stratford. This could involve refurb and repair duties, stock checking and unloading vehicles.

Responsibilities:

*Ensure that company procedures are implemented & monitored.
*Manage and lead the structures team.
*Be the key contact on site with the client.
*Ensure project is finished on time to the required standard.
*Maintain full cooperation and support from your team.
*Control of documentation.
*Training and development of staff.

*Organise repairs and refurbishment of damaged stock.
*Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.

Requirements:

*Driving licence.
*Knowledge and experience of leading and motivating a team.
*The ability to work with your hands, using basic tools and follow build instructions.
*Teamwork and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
*Motivated with a can do attitude.
*Organised with good attention to detail.
*Able and willing to travel and spend nights away from home.

45 Hours per week, typically 8am to 6pm (including travel time from head office to location). Longer hours and weekend working is expected with time off in lieu.

Based in Stratford, Warwickshire.
Basic salary £26k + Bonus + Referrals Scheme.
