Finance office assistant - temporary to assist for 3-4 months maybe longer
37.5 Hours Per Week (can be flexible) IMMEDIATE START
Office working in Worcester
Hewett Recruitment's Finance team are currently recruiting a finance assistant to start as soon as possible for our client based in Worcester. This is a wonderful opportunity if you are available immediately and can commit to temp contract work carrying out finance duties for a small and reputable organisation.
Brief overview of duties:
- Purchase Ledger
- On-boarding new supplier account details and amendments in accordance with documented procedure
- Log all supplier invoices received with a unique voucher number and date received by accounts
- Processing AP Invoices through preliminary posting, coding where appropriate, matching to PO receipts and confirm authorisation and terms for payment
- Resolve price and quantity differences with our Purchasing Team
- Processing AP Invoices through preliminary posting, coding where appropriate, matching to PO receipts and authorisation for payment
- Processes supplier Credit Notes
- Confirm supplier balances against supplier statements and payment requests
- Advice suppliers of payments made
- Processing of employee expenses in accordance to the business expense policy
