My client is looking for a Firmware Engineer to join as they expand their firmware engineering team
As a successful Firmware Engineer you will be responsible for:
*Writing and debugging FPGA and ASIC solutions
*Design, develop, test and deliver firmware solutions for navigation and cryptographic devices
*Working closely with the Project Design Authority and multidisciplinary teams
As a successful Firmware Engineer you should have experience in:
*Firmware and hardware design and development
*CPLD, FPGA, VHDL and real time embedded systems
*VVT (verification Validation and Testing) environment
*Working in both smaller and larger distributed agile teams
As a successful Firmware Engineer it would be beneficial if you had experience in:
*Embedded and applications development in C/C++, assembly or appropriate languages
*System on chip, embedded processors and high speed interfaces
*Distributed agile teams
*ModelSim, Synplify, ISE exposure
*GNSS, Galileo Security Chain or PRS Receivers,
*RF and radio signal performance
*Matlab, Mentor Graphics, DxDesigner or Expedition PCB
You should have or be able to attain UK security clearance as a requirement of the role. As this company has sites nationally, some travel may be required.
This Firmware Engineer role is commutable from Worcester, Worcestershire, Droitwich, Hereford, Ledbury, Pershore, Evesham, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Redditch, Bromyard and Cheltenham.
