Health and Safety Advisor

Responsible for conducting Type 1 and Type 2 fire risk and general risk assessments, the Health and Safety Advisor will be required to deliver detailed reports on findings and recommendations across the business. The role is based in Worcester but has UK travel.

As well as the above qualifications, it is essential that the Health and Safety Advisor can demonstrate:

*NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
*NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management and/or FPA Certificate in Applied Fire Risk Assessment
*Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health

As well as the above qualifications, it is essential that the Health and Safety Advisor can demonstrate:

*Proven experience in conducting in-depth Type 1 and Type 2 Fire Risk Assessment Surveys and General H&S Risk Assessment Surveys.
*Completion of comprehensive and concise reports with recommendations in adherence to The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Approved Documents, British Standards etc.
*A strong knowledge of all H&S and Fire Safety Legislation and be able to advise accordingly where Breaches in legislation may occur and the ramifications to the Responsible Person and Key Stakeholders.
*A minimum 1 year in H&S and Fire Safety role within a facilities management arena
*Proven experience in multi-site operations

The role is a field based position and requires the successful candidate to have exceptional organisational and planning skills as well as report writing skills.
CVs are required in the first instance. Candidates will also be required to provide evidence of Risk Assessments that have been conducted.
Salary up to £35k plus car allowance
