A talented and passionate HR Generalist is required to be at the forefront of these ambitious growth plans.

The Role

As a standalone HR Advisor, it will be your responsibility to ensure that all aspects of the employment lifecycle are delivered as a timely, compliant and high-quality service. Initially it will be your responsibility to quickly become familiar and proficient in all systems, processes and policies to ensure that HR day-to-day operations are running smoothly and as effectively as possible.

As you progress within your new role, you will swiftly become the first point of contact for HR queries and eventually own major processes, such as recruitment, absence management and performance management. The HR Manager will provide support and guidance throughout your onboarding process, from policies and processes to helping you quickly understand culture, values and vision.

The role will see you work closely with Management to advise, coach and support them throughout HR processes and employee relation cases. When necessary, it will be your responsibility to act as an impartial adjudicator in sensitive cases with the aim of seeking resolution. Ultimately you will ensure that the HR department is working as a well-oiled machine to ensure that the business will head into this next period of growth as proactively and efficiently as possible.

The Person

The HR Manager is looking for someone who is an established and capable HR Professional wishing to take the next exciting step in their career and broaden their experience as a HR generalist. A passion for HR and a desire to continuously learn and improve is imperative. The right person for this role will be meticulous, organised and systematic in their approach to administration. They will have excellent attention to detail and be thorough in all aspects of their role.

They will be calm, level-headed and objective in their interactions, yet resilient and persuasive when necessary. Their written and verbal communication will be exceptional and they must be able to use MS Excel effectively. They will be a role model within the company, ensuring that they remain highly professional at all times and lead the way in all manner of compliance. They will also be approachable and conscientious with excellent active listening skills.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a HR Generalist
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Strong ability to manage own time and prioritise workload
  • Experience in providing payroll information to payroll company

Benefits:

£30,000 - £35,000 annual salary (depending on experience).
25 days (plus bank holidays), rising to 30 days with length of service.
