Job description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a newly created HR Advisor role to support the site on all HR matters.

Reporting to the Group HR Director, you will take on a varied generalist HR role, covering employee issues, performance management, resourcing, employee engagement and supporting change management initiatives as well as analysing MI data to provide insight and improvements across the site, while carrying out the day-to-day HR operational activities.

You will also be working as part of a global HR team to deliver challenging HR projects using best practice and creative ideas to support the ambitious growth of the business.

HR Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with all HR queries at the site on a daily basis.
  • Supporting Managers with formal capability meetings, grievances and disciplinary investigations and managing sickness absence.
  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating HR policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff.
  • Recruitment and selection, to include advice to managers, coordinating the appointment process and carrying out induction and onboarding process.
  • Reviewing and updating job descriptions.
  • Sourcing external training providers based on individual and group needs.
  • Writing and delivering in-house training programmes for Managers.
  • Coaching and supporting Managers on ER issues.
  • Being a key contributor in HR projects to drive cultural change, policy development and organisational design across the business.
  • HR administration duties to include upkeep of personnel files, processing payroll matters and benefits administration.

HR Advisor Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years HR experience in an advisory role.
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified.
  • Used to working in a fast paced, changing environment, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in managing disciplinary and grievances.
  • Exposure to high volume recruitment and selection.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of training programmes.

Based in Studley, Warwickshire.

Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, Friday 8am to 3:30pm.

£30,000 - £35,000 annual salary.
