Reporting into the business management function and with direct accountability into the Managing Director, the HSSE Manager will be responsible for the HSSE leadership in all areas of the complex operations.
A large component for the HSSE Manager role will involve developing, managing and delivering HSSE plans for relatively new business units, including West Africa, Offshore and in the Oil and Gas projects space.
Some key areas of responsibility will include (but not be limited to):
*Leading on HSSE Group strategy while maintaining and developing HSSE elements of the group
*Maintaining and developing the group Health Safety Management to ISO standards, stakeholder and any other legal or compliance requirements
*Security Management - planning, organising and controlling the security function
*Environmental Management - maintaining to ISO standards.
As a successful senior manager with extensive demonstrable HSSE experience ideally within the security industry, you will have the ability to deliver against complex and often conflicting priorities across the Group.
As the 'expert' you will be commercially minded and able to succinctly identify and communicate strategic HSSE risks at Board level.
Qualifications and Experience required:
*NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level degree (NEBOSH Oli and gas highly advantageous)
*Demonstrable leadership skills
*Enhanced First Aid and trauma
*Qualifications and experience in hostile environment
*Experience within the security, military, maritime, oil and gas industries preferable

Based in Hereford, the successful candidate must be prepared to travel to group offices (including to remote areas) - initially this will be required extensively.
