A Public Sector Organisation are seeking an ICT Programme Manager to assist them co-ordinating ICT Transformation and Change projects. The organisation is undergoing a significant transformation with targets set for 2020 and this is an excellent opportunity to work with this forward thinking organisation during this period.

The successful candidate will oversee and implement projects covering the ICT redesign and move to an ITILv3 framework. Responsibilities will include;

-Day to day management of the Programme identifying and resolving issues and ensure they are managed and resolved in a timely manner
-Develop, plan and manage the delivery of change programmes and projects using MSP methodology
-Prepare relevant programme documents at each stage.
-Identify and secure resources as required by the programme and projects
-Identify and engage relevant stakeholders at each stage of the programme and manage the process via the production and management of stakeholder communication plans
-To ensure that benefits management is an integral part of the programme and that benefits are identified, planned and measured and that there is a clear understanding of impact on the business area
-Proactive Risk monitoring and response ensuring escalation to relevant appointees where required
-Control and report of programme expenditure
-Management of Project Managers ensuring high levels of delivery standards are maintained at all times

Ideal candidate should have the following;

-Extensive experience working as a Transformation Programme Manager with a successful track record of managing complex change programmes, delivering to industry standard KPI's.
-Experience of large, multi-site, ICT transitions to Customer Centric ITIL3 based operating models
-Exposure to all areas of programme/ project lifecycle including business analysis, functional specification, risk management and transition planning and implementation
-Demonstrable experience of influencing and building consensus with stakeholders
-Ability to translate a strategic approach to a set of project deliverables and operational objectives
-Strong communications skills at all levels
-Proven ability to work under pressure and manage complex and often unique issues
