Information Security and Specialist - part-time (Cheltenham)

My client are a developing company who provide support business-critical objectives for their client base by providing SaaS services to high profile companies all over the globe.

They have successfully recruited during lockdown and are now looking for an Information Security Specialist to join their team working 15 hours a week across two days.

My client are expanding their ISO27001 policy across the company so are looking for an Information Security Specialist who can really hit the ground running!

In this Information and Security Specialist opportunity you will be responsible for:

-Overseeing the information security management system ISMS. You will chair the information governance group and will oversee the implementation of the ISMS across the business
-You will be responsible for expanding our accreditations to include CSA* and Cyber Essentials.
-You will also be responsible for creating security documentation to support the sales process with end customers and using this documentation to respond to their questions.

In order to be successful in this Information and Security Specialist you should have the following experience:

-You will have either implemented from scratch or been responsible for overseeing the on-going maintenance of an ISO27001 information security management system; or have very good knowledge of the standard and its applicability to a SaaS software business.
-You will have been responsible for implementing security controls as part of an ISMS and monitoring their efficacy.
