This company are seeking a IT Support Engineer to provide the business with 2nd Line Support services as part of the IT Operations team.
*To provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the infrastructure including desktops, servers, operating systems, system software, permissions, network (wired and wireless), application software, storage devices, back up, licensing and hardware deployments.
*Assist with resolving tickets generated by 1st Line engineers, customers, suppliers and vendors and Incident Management for P1/ Urgent tickets
*Assist IT Infrastructure manager and 3rd line engineers on infrastructure projects as required either in the office or onsite
Experience and Skills Required
*Extensive knowledge of Service Desk environment and ITIL framework
*Experience of working within an SCCM Environment
*Excellent understanding of Administering and deploying Office 365
*Microsoft Exchange Servers
*Active directory, account management, network permissions and group policy
*Experience building, supporting and administering virtualization technologies (ideally VMware and Hyper-V)
*Practical knowledge of Network storage devices Internet content filters, firewalls and proxy servers. Switches, router and VLANS
*Excellent customer service and communication skills, written and verbal
*Cisco call manager
Successful applicant must hold a current, full driving licence.
