Working as part of the Digital Asset group you will lead and manage a team to use cutting edge data science, machine learning methods and data analytics to support the development and delivery of digital assets and external projects and initiatives.
Specific tasks of a Lead Data Scientist are likely to include:
*Leading the data science team, mentoring and identifying development opportunities for team members
*Develop solutions to solve complex data problems
*Develop and evolve platform data models and algorithmic solutions
*Apply mathematical analysis techniques to generate data insights, visualisations and algorithms from design to execution
*Generate analytics reports to promote new analytics concepts
*Presenting reports and findings to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements of a Lead Data Scientist would include:
*Experience working with SQL and NoSQL database
*Familiar with agile system development
*Capability in data analysis, Spark, Kafta and Cassandra would be advantageous
*Statistical tool experience essential such as SPSS or similar
*Strong management skills to build, manage and retain team members
*Experience in at least one of the following - Machine learning, Classification models, Cluster analysis, Neural Networks, Multivariate Statistics, Stochastic Models, Bayesian Modelling.
*Software language such as Python, Ruby, Visual Basic or similar
