The Company

An Estate Management business who look after a variety of sites across the UK.

The Role

As Maintenance & Facilities Operative, you will report the Estate Supervisor and provide a professional site and facilities maintenance service, working closely with site tenants, suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities

*Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems on the estate.
*Participate in the development of policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies and facilities.
*Participate in the development of a system for cleaning, repair and maintenance of facilities.
*To contribute in the provision of a safe and healthy environment for all estate users.
*To undertake other duties appropriate to the post that may reasonably be required from time to time.
*Recommend improvements to working practices and procedures to achieve best practice by assisting the Estate Supervisor to produce corrective action plans in cases of system non - conformance and where appropriate initiate remedial action.
*Perform routine and scheduled maintenance to the estate such as painting, cleaning gutters, ground maintenance, building maintenance, basic carpentry etc.
*Prioritise work to complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
*Follow a preventative maintenance schedule as set out by the management team.
*Perform routine inspections of property to check for maintenance problems.
*Complete daily work record forms and job assignment sheets.
*Complete other related paperwork as directed.

Requirements

*Recent experience in a similar role is ESSENTIAL.
*Experience of Health & Safety at work.
*Experience of work schedules & processes.
*Hands on maintenance skills & experience to include painting, grounds & building maintenance, basic carpentry, plumbing etc.
*Must be a good communicator & able to work well with others.
*The ability to work alone, using own initiative.
*Experience in the use of email, Word & Excel is essential.


4 weeks holiday + bank holidays.
Pension.
PPE provided.
£19,000 basic salary.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, mainly days although flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business.
Based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.
