The Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities Include:
-Hands on supervision of staff and contractors, providing support as required to resolve mechanical equipment field problems as they occur.
-Oversee repair to affected equipment so as to ensure the minimum loss of production fully and effectively, within budget.
-Investigation of equipment failures recommending solutions to reduce recurrence or eliminate the cause.
-Development and review of preventative maintenance programs to reduce unplanned shutdowns and improve overall plant on stream capability.
-Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.
-Apply a "Continuous Improvement" philosophy to daily work.
-Acceptance and promotion of client's safety culture and to ensure that safety standards are suitably adhered to.
-Available for out of hour's mechanical breakdowns and pre-planned out of hour's activities including support 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis, to locations anywhere across Europe.
-Minimum 5 -10 years of experience with reciprocating and rotating machine maintenance, (precision measuring equipment, materials of machinery, lifting and rigging, schematics and layout drawings and understand maintenance manuals)
-Ideally background in Oil & Gas, Water or Gas and Liquids.
-Mechanical Apprenticeship, BTEC Level 3 / ONC.
-Previous experience in supervising others in the team.
-Knowledge of SAP.
-The ability to communicate in English, both the spoken and written word.
-A full driving license and passport are also required.
