Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key function of this role is to prepare financial information and implement effective strategies to enhance overall business performance.
Responsibilities include maintaining financial policies and management information systems, alongside establishing effective communication channels to inform management on all aspects of company finance.
Responsibilities
Production of accurate and timely management accounts.
Accountability for cash flow and production of forecasts
Prepare KPI & financial information to assist business profitability and growth
Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
Lead, manage, guide and motivate a team
Review company assets and liabilities
VAT Reconciliations & Submissions
Production of relevant commercial analysis e.g. margins and pricing
Responsible for overseeing Weekly and Monthly Payroll processing
Pension submission and reconciliation.
Reconciling and processing PAYE payments
Continuously monitor and improve the financial and reporting systems to ensure they meet the developing needs of the business
Requirements
Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), or qualified by experience
Thorough understanding of management information systems
Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial
