As an experienced Manufacturing Engineer you will join project teams and be responsible for;
*Implementation of Lean principles covering waste reduction and streamlining existing procedures and processes.
*Introducing manufacturing methodologies covering cell development, planning and analysis.
*Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, covering best practices and working with Quality Engineers and HSE teams where required to improve procedures and processes.
*Liaising with Programme, Projects Managers, Stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and ensure all engineering processes and controls procedures are fit for purpose.
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following skills and experience;
*Significant experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within Automotive or Aerospace industries covering production /process engineering and control.
*Experience with bespoke equipment and tooling design.
*Lean Six Sigma qualified or significant equivalent experience with Lean manufacturing techniques.
*Exposure to working in heavily controlled QHSE environments.
*Formative engineering experience in areas such as CNC machining, moulding, bonding and assembly.
*Manufacturing/ Engineering degree or other relevant field or equivalent qualification (HND/HNC).
This role will require the successful candidate to hold or be able to obtain SC Clearance.
