We are working in partnership with our client who is a prestigious co-educational prep school for both boarding and day pupils. This rare opportunity requires a flexible individual with high levels of initiative, attention to detail and self-motivation who would thrive on working in this environment and play a key role in the marketing and promotion of the school.
In order to meet the requirements of a varied and challenging position, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of social media, print media and the day to day running of a website.
As a successful Marketing and Registrar's Assistant you will be required to:
*Support the delivery of the strategic marketing plan which includes (but is not limited to):
oOverseeing the development of the social media platforms using Facebook and Twitter
oUpdating the school website with relevant news, photos and information
oKeeping weekly records of analytics and monitoring the SEO performance of the website
oConducting market research
oAssisting the Registrar with advertising through print media such as brochures and prospectuses
oAttending monthly marketing meetings
oEnsuring the consistency of quality and branding of external communications
oCo-ordinating mailings and email shots
*Aid the Registrar in all aspects of their job with responsibilities including:
oHelping to support and plan key school events such as Open Days, Sports days etc.
oPreparing prospective pupil and parent information packs
oPreparing marketing materials and sourcing school merchandise
oAdministration of all relevant paper work and forms at the start of each term, particularly for overseas students
To be considered for this Marketing and Registrar's Assistant role you must:
*Be able to demonstrate previous experience working in Social Media
*Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
*Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, particularly with writing skills and grammatical accuracy
*Possess excellent organisational skills and have a strong eye for detail
*Be a self- starter who can demonstrate a flexible attitude and work as part of a team as well as being the key support to the Headmaster and Registrar
It is essential that the successful candidate has a high level of professionalism and is confident in dealing with pupils, parents and external stakeholders.
Based on the Malvern outskirts, this is an all-encompassing position that requires an individual who can embrace the culture and educational environment and be prepared to 'go the extra mile'. This role offers a salary of £18,495 per annum, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break. You will be required to work occasional Saturdays and will be given prior notice of these dates.
The position is term time only plus 6 weeks in the holidays (one week at Easter and Christmas and four weeks in the Summer holidays). Statutory holiday pay is included in the salary above. A free meal is available at lunchtime during term time along with a contributory pension and generous membership terms for the Sports Complex.
