Job description

The Role

As Marketing Database Officer you will take overall responsibility for the management of the data across various systems that support interactions with clients.

You will play a pivotal role in sourcing and identifying a new CRM system for the business, along with the management and ongoing development of the database to support the marketing requirements of the business.

The Marketing Database Officer is a newly created role to help the business respond to increased demand for their services and overall growth and will require an individual with good project management and problem solving skills, with the ability to continually develop and refine the database.

You will be a good communicator, comfortable making calls to identify key contacts for specific campaigns and a natural influencer who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level.

Responsibilities

To manage and develop the client database.
Be responsible and take ownership of the maintenance, development and integrity of the client database, ensuring the data is accurate, current and consistent.
Oversee the integrity of the data by working with colleagues to ensure the data from the various systems and associated business processes are fit for purpose.
Oversee the creation and embedding of new and existing protocols and business processes across the organisation to ensure best practice is followed with a client focused approach.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client database, identifying opportunities to improve marketing systems and data management.
Undertake specific research projects and contacting prospective clients to obtain key points of contact for marketing initiatives.
Assist staff in using the database to support their business operations.
Ensure that the client database works alongside other information systems.
Ensure compliance with data protection and that best business practice is followed with regards to use and maintenance of data stored.
The creation, co-ordination and analysis of market and client insight to support a greater client focus.
Exploit the information in the database and associated systems as effectively as possible and share client insights and other marketing information with colleagues across the Company.
To ensure the smooth running of the client database team and function.

Requirements

Experience of managing client databases to support the requirements of the business.
Experience of email marketing systems.
Experience of managing projects involving integration across systems.
Experience of data management.
Experience of re-engineering business process knowledge.
Advanced Excel and SQL query skills preferable.

£25,000 - £30,000 annual salary (dependant on experience).

Based in Bromsgrove.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
