A new role has been created as a Material Rheologist to be part of our cutting edge manufacturing client's team based in Kidderminster.
As a Material Rheologist you will be working on full project life cycles and be part of a wider engineering team. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting material and product development. This role will suit someone who is interested in working on research projects and being part of a ground breaking team.
Duties of a Material Rheologist:
*Rheological analysis of materials to develop mechanical properties
*Building rheological test procedures for material qualification
*Reviewing material behaviours and failure points
*Create new testing techniques
*Identify and report on trends following analysis of materials
Requirements to be a Material Rheologist:
*Degree level qualification in: Engineering, Material Science or related discipline
*Experience in materials testing
*Strong engineering mind set and problem solver
*Knowledge of mechanical and chemical properties
*Maths and Physics understanding
*Understanding of materials such as inert and energetic behaviours
*Clear communicator both verbally and with written documentation
This role as a Material Rheologist is based in Kidderminster and commutable from: Stourport, Bromsgrove, Stourbridge, Worcester, Droitwich, Solihull, Redditch and Birmingham.
This role is based with a client in the defence sector, all candidates will have to achieve security clearance if successful.
