Our client is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to help ensure the smooth operation of our machinery. You will be responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining various components and machinery. You will also provide support and recommendations with health and safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

  • Create and follow a maintenance plan for the organisation's electrical equipment.
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot components and machines.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide support and recommendations to the production team and other departments.
  • Learn new skills and stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the field.

Requirements - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

  • Time served having completed a recognised apprenticeship.
  • 3 years' experience working as an mechanical maintenance engineer or within a similar role.
  • Strong technical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
