Network Design Engineer - Malvern (£45,000-£55,000)

My client are a successful provider IT solutions based in Malvern who specialise in delivering cloud, security, and enterprise networks to their client base and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cisco Engineer to join their Enterprise Networks team!

This permanent opportunity suits a Network Design Engineer with at least 5 years' experience using Cisco products and holds certifications such as a CCNP and is looking to advance their career in Network Design.

The ideal candidate will have a range of experience in Network Design and a background as well as in-depth knowledge of Cisco products.

As well as a competitive salary of £45,000-55,000 for this Network Design Engineer opportunity you will also enjoy the following benefits:

In this role as a Network Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

-Leading Enterprise Network deployments and migrations on critical environments through a complete project life cycle
-Design, pre-stage and implement networks
-Build full lifecycle packages for a seamless deployment with minimum service impact
-Be responsible for full project lifecycle design
-Provide some training of support / operations staff in routing and switching

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

-CCNP (essential)
-5+ years' experience installing, designing and troubleshooting Cisco networks. (essential)
-Network Design (essential)
-Experience with NAC/ 802.1x (highly desirable)
-Full project lifecycle (highly desirable)
