The Company

The company is premier provider of networking solutions to Enterprise Level organisations globally. Due to an increase of new contracts they are forecasting 200% growth over the next 3 years. Their state of the art head office in Worcestershire is under refurbishment and expanding, in what is an extremely exciting time for the business.

The Role

To support this growth the company require the services of Contract Network Engineers to provide support to on various projects. The roles will be primarily based at the head office with potential for both domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

-Design, configure and deploy network solutions
-Deploy technical projects & bespoke configurations on customer premises (remote or on-Site).
-Maintaining a consistently high level of service delivery.
-Troubleshooting, Technical investigations, Route cause Reports.
-Assisting the Project Manager with Change Requests in regards to your deployments.
-Identifying areas where processes can be improved and newly implemented (Internal and Customers specific).
-Update and maintain Routing and Switching documentation and procedures.
-Ensure sufficient Logs and details collected for technical escalation or reassignment to 3rd Party Providers.

Experience & Skills

-3-5 years' experience of Enterprise Level Network Engineering.
-Well rounded networking experience covering design, configuration, installation, documentation and enforcement.
-A good understanding of Network Management Applications such as Cisco Prime
-A strong knowledge of the Cisco Routing and Switching Portfolio.
-Ability to work under pressure and retain composure.
-Able to articulate and communicate complex technical issues at all levels
-Strong team work ethic
-Previous experience working in international and/or multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

-Formal CISCO qualification (i.e. CCNA, CCNP) ideally with Routing & Switching, Voice or Security
-Graduate Level IT or Technical subject or equivalent work experience
-Fluency in English (speak, read and write)
-Additional language skills would be beneficial

Some short term travel maybe required including overseas
