An Office Administrator is required for an established local firm of Solicitors. Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Office Administrator will be responsible for managing the day to day operations and administration needs of the business, ensuring its smooth operation.
*Providing office support including client and employee support.
*Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity.
*Keeping computer databases up to date.
*Following up on business communications, billing and ordering.
*Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors.
*Arranging Parking Tickets for employees.
*Sending, receiving and monitoring emails.
*Preparing documents by printing, copying, and binding.
*Writing and editing company correspondence.
*Collecting and sorting post.
*Assisting with minor technical support and reporting all IT, Telephone and Copier issues to outsourced providers.
*Scheduling appointments and events.
*Ordering office stationery and purchasing other supplies.
*Preparing meeting rooms by setting up chairs and getting refreshments.
*Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes.
*Giving feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible improvements.
*To maintain professional standards.
*To keep up-to-date by training and research.
*To ensure confidentiality and security of all practice documentation and/or information
*Good verbal and written skills are essential.
*To be self motivated and prioritise own work load in a dynamic environment.
*Must have the ability to develop good working relations with all staff, third parties and agencies.
*Have a practical and diplomatic approach.
*A capacity for inspiring professionalism.
*Experience of working in a Law Firm ideal.
*Administrator experience within an office.
£18,000 - £20,000.
Based in Kidderminster.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
