Our client is a small, successful manufacturing business operating in a rural location, on the outskirts of Malvern. With a small workforce who are currently led by the company owner, there is now an opportunity for an experienced Operations / General Manager to come on board and play an integral part in taking the business forward and lead the operations on a day to day basis.
With a strong business acumen and ability to implement processes and systems, you will be forward thinking and driven without wanting to change the ethos of an already highly regarded business.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
*Streamlining manual processes into an IT system
*Evaluating day to day operations and assessing ways for improvement
*Liaising with the MD on ways to develop the business and move it forward
*Speaking to clients and chasing outstanding payments when required
*Overseeing logistics and organising transport as required
Skills and experience required:
*Previous experience in streamlining processes and introducing new systems
*A visionary who can look at ways to develop business
*A team player as well as a leader
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong Microsoft office skills
*A willingness to 'go the extra mile'
