Order Processing and Shipping Administrator

With exceptional interpersonal, communication and order processing skills, you will be someone who thrives on working in a forward thinking, global organisation and has previous shipping and import/export experience. An ability to use various systems and applications, as well as having advanced Microsoft office skills is also essential.

Some key duties and responsibilities for the Order processing and Shipping Administrator will include (but not be limited to):

  • Ordering receipt, reviewing and entering all orders (primarily spare parts and consumables) onto the systems
  • Liaising with the Sales order Processing Team Leader to monitor and expedite overdue orders for delivery
  • Maintaining contact and keeping customers up to date
  • Responsibility for the freight forwarding and invoicing of all orders to all territories
  • Preparing all appropriate documentation (Carnet, Letter of Credit, EUR1, ATR, certificates of insurance, certificate of origin)
  • Advising customers of dispatch details and resolving any transit issues that may arise
  • Supporting in export and import processes for materials sourced from the US and Asia Pacific countries

As well as being an excellent team player, you will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and meet required deadlines.

Skills and experience required for the Order Processing Shipping Administrator:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Shipping and Import/Export experience, including use of computerised online shipping software
  • Order processing and invoicing systems
  • Microsoft Excel and Word (Advanced)
  • The use of various computer systems/applications
  • A proven track record in customer care and satisfaction Advanced French language skills (desirable)
  • Intermediate German language skills (desirable)
