I am recruiting for my client who specialises in producing equipment for a variety of international industries who are looking to appoint a part time permanent software developer to work alongside the engineering team to maintain their current software package, introduce new features and test and release software.
The successful part time permanent software developer will be responsible for:
*VB6 Software development
*New feature and maintenance development
*Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
*Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions
*Help maintain code quality, organisation and automation
*Confidently able to work under your own supervision
To be considered for this part time software developer role you should have experience in:
*Commercial development experience within C# and VB6
*Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant degree: computer science, systems development or similar
As a successful part time software developer you will receive
*Hours at 16 hours a week but flexible
*Holiday days + bank holidays (pro rata)
*Nice working environment and team members
This role is based in Malvern working around 16 hours a week with flexibility 1-3 days a week or maybe more or less depending on you or the business' needs with an option to go permanent in the future.
This role is commutable from Birmingham, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn, Bewdley, Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford, Ledbury, Evesham, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Suckley, Bromyard, Tewkesbury, Inkberrow and Pershore.
